Apple has approved Everport 1.0.6. This update fixes a bug with importing items with ampersand in them.
Apple initially rejected the update because Backpack pages can sometimes have upgrade links on them. I totally disabled interaction with the web page, but they still rejected it. After appealing with the App Review Board, they gave me a one time exception and accepted it.
This leaves me with a dilema for the next update. How do I not display these upgrade links? I could parse the web page and remove it. I could use the Backpack API, download the data for each page, and generate my own view. Neither one is particularly appealing. Both ways would slow things down. A third way is to just not display the page at all. Again, not appealing.
